ANTI
VAPING
CAMPAIGN
Vaping has become a silent epidemic destroying Pakistan's youth. Behind every cloud of vapour lies addiction, disease, and a future stolen. Aik Roshani is fighting back β with truth, education, and unwavering commitment to our next generation.
THE YOUTH
What Is
Vaping?
A vape or e-cigarette is an electronic device that heats a liquid β called e-liquid or vape juice β to produce a vapour that is inhaled. Companies marketed these as a 'safe alternative to smoking.' Science tells a very different story.
A single-use vape can contain as much nicotine as an entire packet of cigarettes. Young people become addicted faster and find it harder to quit β because their brains are still developing.
Social media platforms β Instagram, TikTok, YouTube β are glamorising vaping, making children fall victim to peer pressure and the pursuit of a 'cool' image. This is not cool. This is a crisis.
8 Devastating Dangers
of Vaping
Vaping causes EVALI β a serious, life-threatening lung disease. Toxic vapour permanently damages lung tissue, causing asthma, bronchitis, and irreversible injury.
Vaping dramatically increases cardiovascular disease risk. Nicotine raises blood pressure and heart rate. Blood vessel narrowing has been reported even in teenagers.
The most dangerous harm. A teenager's brain develops until age 25. Nicotine causes permanent damage to decision-making, memory, and attention β before victims realise they're addicted.
A single vape contains the nicotine of an entire cigarette pack. Young people become addicted far more quickly β and breaking the habit becomes increasingly difficult.
Vaping aerosols damage DNA, weaken antioxidant defences, and prevent normal cell growth. Research confirms this as a direct pathway to developing cancer.
Vaping multiplies harmful bacteria in the mouth, causing severe gum disease, tooth discolouration, and significantly increased risk of mouth cancer.
Young vapers are significantly more prone to anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Some begin vaping out of sadness β vaping then makes them sadder still. A tragic cycle.
Vaping is consistently the first step. Research confirms young vapers are far more likely to progress to cigarettes, cannabis, and other dangerous substances.
